To discuss this logically, you have to take the emotion out of a rather emotive subject.

If we take the 'God' you mention as the leader of a religion or group of religions then God would want the numbers constantly boosted to make the religions greater in number, God wouldn't want the numbers reduced.

theland, (God creates life, to destroy it is a sin) does that include all the starving in africa and many other parts of the world, malnutrition disease abuse, the planet can barely feed let alone care for the billions already here, in an ideal world we do not live, so we have to make choices about bringing children into this world, or do you believe god will provide...fatalistic apathy do you not think.
