I have seen several posts on here about euthanasia for people with terminal physical diseases. This is about mental health problems...

Im all for it.
As someone who has experienced mental health issues and associated psychiatric hospital admissions, Id still happily end my life in a painless way if possible during an 'episode'. Cant obviously speak for others though.
Life for some is pleasurable, but for others its just endurable.
For me its just endurable.

In my time in hospitals and elderly care I have never seen someone euthanised. I have seen then given treatments to keep them comfortable that will have a life shortening effect, sometimes quite a marked one. I have also known of people who had enough medication in the house to end their lives when things got too bad for them, sometimes by hoarding, often with the knowledge and connivance of their prescriber. I think that vulnerable people are more at risk in a don't ask don't tell system than they are if things are discussed openly.
//Nailit, that is so sad. Get help!//
Unlike yourself Theland, I dont fear death.
I dont fear eternal torture and pain (hell) so for me, death would be a release.
Not saying that we should all go around killing ourselves, but simply that death is nothing to be afraid of. Everything dies eventually anyway. For some its a release.
