Racism - A Two Way Street.

Having been labelled on here as a racist, I would deny that claim most fervently for a variety of reasons, although I can easily see how somebody may come to that conclusion.
Racism, in whatever form it takes, needs to be called out, as it is am evil that denies our fellow man the very dignity that we ourselves demand and expect.
Most incidents of racism are directed by whites towards non whites, and therefore gain the headlines and the popular appreciation of the whole subject.
But I declare that racism is a two way street, and that racism in many forms is directed not only towards individual white people or groups of white people, but towards the very institutions and traditions that are part of our accepted way of life, and that such reverse racism, is equally dangerous and also needs to be confronted vigorously whenever it appears under whatever current guise it has adapted.
Do you agree with this, or have any constructive comment to offer?

Mozz. No. Use the search facility like I did.
I doubt there is much need, mozz... the OP here says everything.
"but ..." Zacs?
doesn't practice what he preaches sadly
Zacs, does that mean you searched through Thelands post history to find something to hang him with? Whether he's racist or not (and it'll take a better debater than me to argue in favour of "not"), that's more fanatical than I can be bothered with.

I'll just assume it was something preposterous.
YMB: "AH, women can leer at men too in gyms, particularly large packaged Gentlemen. Seen it many times. " - I used to belong to a Gym where there was a hole in the changing room wall to the ladies next door. Some members complained but in the end I thought *** let them look if they want.
the *** = a piece of turf followed by "it" .
Exactly ttt :-). I don't think you would feel as physically threatened by that, as a woman might.
It's not the leering that bothers me, it's the pointing and giggling.

'Preaches' being the operative word!!!

Racism, to answer some of my critics, is not only wrong, but self defeating.
All men are born equal regardless of ethnicity, and to say otherwise is a shot in ones own foot to even attempt to justify such an assertion.
The problem arises of course when one ethnicity is given, or takes, a superior position, or a position that adorns them with a seperateness that infringes on the host populations culture.
Does that a answer your questions regarding my views?
Kind of... you have missed out women entirely..... and also seem to be ignoring that white men have always considered themselves and been treated as "the favourites" so far. I'm not sure why trying to readjust the balance, worries you?
Question Author
Adjusting the balance does not bother me in the least.
It is how the adjustment is approached that bothers me.
I believe in equality of opportunities for all, male and female, black and white, abled and disabled, everybody.
"And now our country is being overwhelmed by Africans immigrating, and I doubt that apart from the music scene, and knife crime, they have little to offer."

Would you agree that shows a racist opinion of Africans in general?

Question Author
No I would not.
In what way are you giving them an equal opportunity compared to other folk?
Theland, equal opportunities haven't happened in centuries- and still aren't. Just look at the attitude on AB, when a black person gets a presenting job.
How would you equalise things, bearing in mind that the white males who have been forever in control... haven't bothered?
Pixie's spot on. All the time a new black or Asian (or even a female) face on TV is treated with cries of fulfilling pc agendas there isn't equality.
Question Author
When a black person gets a presenting job? Along with all the other black people getting presenting jobs?
That is racism in reverse. Equally distasteful as the more common forms of racism.
Positive discrimination can not be defended, as it it based solely on skin colour, and we all agree that is wrong.
