Happiness... is supposed to be the difference between what you want and what you have.
So, maybe, flexibility.
I don't think there is such a thing as 'the good life', as different people will have different ideas. I suppse I would regard a good life as one where one treats others with respect and kindness, where one is fortunate not to be deprived of food, shelter, warmth and love. Not an easy question to answer.
Clothes on one's back, food in one's belly and a bank balance in credit.
I don't know about other " human beings " but for me:
Financially secure.
Good health.
A satisfying and rewarding occupation.
An attractive, intelligent and devoted wife.

I have all of the above or had have throughout my life.
The Good Life would have been living with a young Felicity Kendall.
Peace of mind.
Maslow's hierarchy of needs is a good starting point.
Being happy, if you are totally happy it means that you have no worries.
Contentment. And that will mean different things, to different people.
What is he good life, According to the English jurist William Blackstone, life is “the immediate gift of God.” The Bible plainly states life’s Source, saying: “With you [God] is the source of life.” (Ps. 36:9) Even though we, by birth, come into possession of this sacred gift without asking for it, nevertheless, we are held responsible for it. We are called upon to live in a manner worthy of that sacred gift, which responsibility the vast majority of mankind have failed to fulfill.
Taking joy in the natural world, knowing in balance the good you do outweighs the harm, loving and being loved and learning to accept losses with equanimity, creative expression and acceptance of self.
For me, a good life does not mean that you must have a lot but where you require very little to be happy and content. Thus, a good life one when you have the skills to enjoy every minute and you know to be happy.
I suggest that you study Maslow's hierarchy of needs for an answer to your homework.
