I have not read that particular book, but have read Brief History Of Time by Hawking.
I have however, spent considerable time studying the subject, and am not convinced.
Lawrence Krause, A Universe From Nothing, is more philosophy than science and leaves many basic questions unanswered.
Daniel Dennet likewise.
God is the best explanation.
