Checked my one lucky dip on Saturday morning. Got the 2 star numbers correct and 3 draw numbers. Can't get the breakdown on my phone, went to the post office expecting a decent payout.

iv'e had better luck on the euromillions hot-picks , i've won a hundred pounds several time picking 2 numbers drawn and my wife has won £1,500 for picking 3 numbers drawn 3 times

In the last 2mths I've won about £110-00. Makes up for the £60-00 I got nicked out my tent whilst I was sleeping at a music festival about 3wks ago.

I hate the emails from the National Lottery telling me that I've won a cash prize on Lotto. I invariably find myself thinking that it's got to be at least £30, as that's the usual minimum cash prize, completely forgetting that matching two numbers on a 'roll down' week gets you a fiver on top of a lucky dip (which is all the 'cash' element ever seems to amount to).

I've always thought the exponential drop in prizes in the Euromillions is a swizz

I suppose your £48, and my £30 could've been much worse melv.
Do you remember this draw from the National Lottery from just over five years ago, when five numbers paid out just £15 !! You got £25 if you had three numbers in the same draw.

I stopped doing Euromillions a long time ago due to the ridiculously low amounts payed for minor prizes.
