All this hype regarding BLM and black history month I have recently noticed that 8 out of 10 TV adverts seem to have a disproportionate non white presence.

Just a casual observation.

Can't say i've ever been interested enough in tv adverts to actually count how many non-whites are in them.

forgetting how 190 000 irish from the republic fought for king George ( all white )
or the russians lost 29 000 000 - yes 29 mill dead

Note to self when next bored...do a count of age/sex/gender/race/colour/whatever else takes my fancy when viewing endless commercials.

I wonder if average,ordinary black viewers count how many white faces there are?

It is noticeable, in dramas as well. And I'm not worried about admitting it. And if this says something about me well so be it, because I am not colour prejudiced at all. It's pretty obvious that the media is trying to put right what has been so wrong, but perhaps trying a bit too hard. It's been the same with the LGBT community. I can see why it has happened.
