Rh's post made me think what my fave smells are. Grass, petrol, that smell just before it rains and stale beer and fans such as the smell that might blast out of an 80s pub as you were walking past are my favorites

Womens knickers.

I have a friend who is a retired Neurosurgeon and his favourite smell is womens knickers BEFORE they go into the washing machine.

Mine is also womens knickers, but freshly laundered.
