Why is the media suddenly super racist and anti-semitic towards Israelites and siding with Palestinians, the true villains?

Laugh as you might but when visiting Isreal I felt a great affinity to her, I felt I’d been there before ….
That there are far more wealthy and powerful Muslim countries than Jewish ones. So many homelands for them and only for Jews. With those odds no wonder they defend the best way they can think of.
I'm not saying it is right just that I can understand it. Remember the palestinians place women and children in danger by using them as human shields and also remember their tunnels are not modelled on The Great Escape but are large enough to drive lorries through.
How would you defend your home?
Bobbi; by 'her' do you mean the state of Israel?
Lady J, I can see that Israel feels surrounded by hostile religions (If only we didn't have these frightful religious divides!), but treating Palestinians badly does not help. I think that only Israel believes that God gave them their land and ordered them to exterminate the people who lived there. They may have got away from the literal interpretation of God's orders, but that ideology does remain in their culture.
The Jews have been blamed for so much and persecuted by so many other religions and banished from so many countries surely they should be allowed to have somewhere.
Totally agree LJ
I agree that not all their methods are in keeping with tolerance but if you are surrounded by people who have declared that it is their wish to obliterate your country and push all your citizens into the sea to drown what would you do?
Thank you Bobbi.

There is too much hatred in this world.
Perhaps the Palestinians and Muslim countries should accept Israel. That would be a start towards peace in the region. Why not lay the blame for most of the unrest on the Religion of Peace instead of the Jewish people.
Again, I agree , they ( the Israelis ) have gone through the Holocaust that some don’t believe ever happened , I’d say to them, visit Auschwitz to see the horrors that took place there
Lady J, 20:17
I think that you defend yourself. But intelligent defence does not necessitate measures over and above self-defence. Of course, strong retaliation is always an option, but I still believe that violence begets violence. It is clear that turning the other cheek does not give you victory, and it is clearly not followed by so-called 'religions of peace'. The world carries on fighting. Jesus, Ghandi, Buddha; none of them have changed human nature enough to avoid conflict. Only centuries of secular human efforts and cultural evolution and eduation have managed to reduce the amount of slaughter that goes on.
Atheist - if i accept what you say why does it not work now? Unfortunately I do not see any reduction in conflict between religions and the zealots that use them for their own ends. Do you have any suggestions on this can be achieved?
For those addressing the OP directly, she has a record of 6 actual responses from her 16 posted questions. I somehow doubt if she will even read any responses here, much less actually elaborate on her question.
Lady J;
I think that only the gradual removal of religious thinkig will help the human race. By religion, I mean non-rational beliefs. This will take time, and I'm not sure if we have time. The world is less violent now than in the past, and if we can avoid the rise of non-rational ideologies we can continue the trend towards less violence. If people are prevented from being given proper education and instead are trained to believe unsubstantiated claims of after-life return to the safety of the womb, then we don't have much hope of a future.
Mozz, I think we are talking amongst ourselves, not trying to persuade some spit-stirring bot.
I agree with Mozz and Atheist on the OP. Just a bit of a discussion between ourselves.
Atheist : I agree with your sentiments but unfortunately cannot see them being put into practical action in my lifetime. Peace is too far down the agenda of so many peoples.
Lady J;
Then die, unbeliever! :-)
Atheist : huh. not me - you. just you wait and see.

So easy isn't it.
