Are Gps Allowed To Support Patients Within The Gp's Religious Community?

Are GPs allowed to support or refer help for their patients within the GP's religious community? I have just contacted my Jewish GP who is observant like myself in a non Jewish area. I sent a message via the GP practice messaging service asking if he can find someone within the Jewish community who understands autism and developmental trauma to support me as a mashpia, as I was denied my Jewish heritage until later in life due to my Dad's family being anti Jewish and abuse by my late Dad of me, my brother and my late Mom due to generational abuse within his family. I spent many years manipulated by evangelical Christians and they have not been there for me since I moved on from their beliefs and discovered Judaism more inspiring and meaningful. Will my GP get into trouble if he does support me in a way I want because it is a personal matter and not a medical matter. I believe GPs used to be part of the local community of any kind, but now GPs have too much red tape which prevents them spending time with patients like they used to.
