Starting today I’m putting it on my FB page and will do once a month till December
There’s only two winners , the card shops and the Post Office, stamps are now a ludicrous price and if you’ve any left over, you’d best use them up before Jan 3rd or they’ll be no good.
Instead we’ll be buying a hot meal (Christmas Dinner ) for a group of homeless in our city
I would of put this in Seasonal but I can’t find it

If you can't find it the chances are neither can anyone else. ;o)

I've cut down considerably on the number of Christmas cards I send.

I deliberately kept what I see as being ‘special cards’ , I’ll put them up then take them away with us on the 23rd Naomi
We had this before - if you can't tell folks (no FB etc) and don't send a card they might think the worst!

I often think I should ring up old friends & have some sort of a conversation but I'm a bit shy & would probably be stuck for something to say after a long hiatus.

Sorry to interrupt your thread Bobbi, but I didn't know about the stamps and thought it might be useful
Some people appear to be wallowing in misery.
Question Author
That’s quite true DB, in which case just a cheery Happy Christmas phone call ( make it early so they don’t expect a card)
Question Author
No worries Margo, this is CB after all
Not wallowing ,more helping those that are worse off Khandro
It’s August.
I thought about doing the same but decided against it in the we end. i’m no fan of Christmas but unless we can opt out altogether, which is pretty impossible I’ll send a few goodwill wishes and enjoy receiving the same. I just think it would be so miserable not to have a few cards at Christmas.
I stopped sending them a good few years ago. I didn’t inform anyone, I just stopped and figured anyone who was bothered would get in touch. No one did as I’m in contact with most through the Internet.
Question Author
I will have them Maydup and so will my friends as I told them last Chris to keep their special cards, and they say they have
Question Author
Vagus the e-cards are nice to let people know you’re thinking of them
I don’t send e cards. I either email or WhatsApp friends and family throughout the year, we keep in touch that way. I do still send a few birthday cards.
