Because part one was closed down , (thanks to the usual suspects).
If Labour did take the UK back into the EU When they are elected next year.
The state of the UK would improve. Because Brexit is the key reason interest rates have risen and a key reason for inflation ,etc. The UK economy is poorer now than it would have been if the UK was still in the EU
Then you could all go skipping along the sunny uplands with Labour in power for years to come,

There has been a brexit dividend. And it is working well for someone.
The rest of the EU.
It is unlikely they would have us back. It is running much more smoothly without the British constantly objecting to everything.
If......
Running much more smoothly is a euphemism for dictatorial
Labour won't have "rejoin" as part of their manifesto. although it's not beyond the bounds of possibility that SKS gets the Andrew McIntosh treatment from a pro-EU executive......
I think of you Gully, er alot ( in the context of censorship)
and regret you get such a bad deal

I love the mods' comments: "I support free speech and any opinions" and then zap zap zap - out goes the comments deemed as un-mimsy and therefore unacceptable.
There should be a new disease - - deleter's finger
index finger arthritis thro a surfeit of deleting !

deleters' delight - the feeling of havingwon in a fair fight ....

You do have a vivid imagination, ever thought of writing fairy tales?
Gulliver, how do you know who closed your thread? Who are the usual suspects?
The tories would love nothing better than to fight the next election on brexit because it is an issue associated very strongly with them... whatever the figures on some labour voters supporting leave brexit was a tory project from start to finish... both sides of the referendum were led by tories, the tories had 100% control over implementing it and Brexit was their only notable policy at all during the last election...

i do hope labour is not foolish enough to fight the next one on their terms... the tories are bereft of ideas so returning to brexit would be a huge gift to them!

long been recognised - in my Uni days it was known as "Pacman Finger"......
gulliver: "If Labour did take the UK back into the EU When they are elected next year." - well if that was in their manifesto they'd lose, many Labour voters voted for brexit and indeed vited for the Tories to get it done.
"Brexit is the key reason interest rates have risen and a key reason for inflation ,etc." - Really, what's cause for the 85% of countries noty in the EUSSR then?
"the The UK economy is poorer now than it would have been if the UK was still in the EUSSR" - Err the whole world is poorer because of a series of crises that started in 2020.
I don't why I bothered, forlorn hope I suppose that one day something might go in.
Deleters finger, first noted by Digit Alice.
between 35 and 40% of Labour voters voted for brexit. I don't think Sir Beer would risk alienating them his lead is pretty slender as it is.
Gromit: "It is unlikely they would have us back. It is running much more smoothly without the British constantly objecting to everything. " - Partly agree with that, they like the dosh obviously so they don't have to ask previous takers to become givers but quite right, they wont want us interfering with their ever onward march to a federal Kakistocracy.
Nor will they want "Sir" Nigel back.

And he would be.
Good point YMB, Lord Farage scared the bejaysus out of them.

13.11"Between 35 and 40% of labour voters voted for Brexit".... That was because they were standing outside the Tory school of radicalisation listening to Boris radicalising you.
....so you agree that Labour voters followed Boris.
If the EU is so great how come according to ITV news this morning Germany which is the richest country of them all has an almost identical number of food banks that we have in this country. No I don't think we should have them but it seems that living in the EU is no better than living here and they have as many living in poverty as we do.
The term 'poverty' is subjective.
