Only a fool living within Europe would have voted for Brexit, believing things would remain the same - allowing them to reside under the same terms, post Brexit.

But who might they have got such a deranged belief from?

why would you want French Vodka gully? When Chase is British and the best in the world voted for even by the Russians.
21 28 That's just your own little warped opinion. If no one watched Hymie's videos how could they comment on them ..."Think about it" ...ha ha.
Err, I commented on his OP not the video , I didn’t want or need to watch it

It’s nothing to do with hatred; just that if I told such lies in my job I would be dismissed for gross misconduct – why should Gove not face the same consequences as me?
I watched this one, can someone tell me where the porky is?
Hymie, I think it was said before, in all the years of a Conservative government, there’s been no plausible opposition, and they still isn’t
calmck was correct at 17:00. This is nothing to do with brexit and everything to do with plonkers putting their head in the sand and not doing the admin to stay where they want. End of.
I have to agree with TTT. So many people did not conform to all the rules when I lived in France that they brought all sorts of problems onto themselves. Mainly they were literally 'innocents abroad' who simply didn't realise that the rules were different.

I did quite nicely in cases of wine and meals out as I sorted out their problems, logged them onto the health service, taxman etc.. These will be the people who have not done all this - although it does sound as if the EU is being particularly vindictive. Before I'll confirm this - I'll have a word with friends still living there who have been legally settled for many years. No-one has been sending me frantic emails asking for board and lodgings!

Gove stated unequivocally that post Brexit, the consequences for people living in the EU is that there are international laws - that all your rights, all your privileges are carried on and are respected.

Why should anyone have doubted a word Gove said – after all, he is a government minister?
