I wasn't talking about envy, TTT. Surprise was my initial reaction. Then once i'd Googled who she was, my second reaction was even more surprise.

Bit like celebrity tv shows when the line-up is announced, (This is where i morph into PP) and we all exclaim, "Who dat den?"

The Lady concerned is quite seriously damned by Wikipedia, advising that heer political CV has not stood up to even basic examination, and there is no dicernable contribution she has made to life in general, or politics in particular, that would merit the award of a peerage.

If anyone genuinely knows what official reasons have been offered to support her appointment, I would interested to read them.

In the mean time, I would suggest that anyone under thirty honestly lacks the life experince to be an efficient member of even the Lower Chamber, and certainly well out of qualificaitons to be anywhere near the Upper Chamber.
