One of my husband's many hobbies - but it really does have its uses.  Well done that man!

Who was holding the camera?

Question Author

According to the words flashing up across the screen, someone trying out a new camera - presumably another kite surfer.

It's attached somehow to the guy or his equipment - these 360 degree cameras get some amazing shots, it's like a magic trick.

It's a wonder he managed to keep the kite flying. I have difficulty flying a kite with both feet firmly on the ground!

Well done that surfer (as a resident at wind-surfing's birthplace I admire them all, and love watching them, often in quite wild weather - it looks very exhilarating, sadly I'm a bit too long in the tooth to try it).

If my memory is correct (not always the case!) I think a kite surfer rescued someone who jumped from the Golden Gate bridge. Not sure if they thanked him though!

Personally I think they're barmy - but what do I know?!!  My friend has banned her husband from the sport after he was dragged up the beach at speed and straight into the sea wall.  Oh the joys of being married to a dangerous sports fanatic!  ;o)))
