I read there had been a re-make of Upstairs Downstairs a while ago.  Does anyone know if it's available to watch?

It was remade in 2010 and is available to watch on Apple TV or Prime at a cost.

Trouble with remakes is you keep picturing the original cast 

In this case I would always keep seeing Gordon Jackson if I was watching the remake

That's true much of the time, Bazile - I can't watch Kenneth Brannagh playing Poirot for example - but one film I do think managed to convince was the 2021 version of West Side Story directed by Stephen Spielberg.  Just magnificent.

Don't see the point of a re-make if the original was any good. Different matter if it's follow on stories.

We enjoyed the original, too.
