Quizzes overload

The Quizzes and puzzles section is very useful but it is now too large and difficlut to scan content accurately.

Could it be split down into, say Quizzes, Puzzles, Ditloids, Crosswords, Charity Quizzes and any other obvious popular category.

For you, Quibbmedusa...
The word 'ditloid' actually comes from the opening letters in the title of the Alexander Solzhenitsyn novel 'One Day in The Life Of Ivan Denisovich'. That can, of course, be abbreviated to "1 = ditloid'. Hence, all of these incredibly tedious other examples such as �52 C in a D' (cards in a deck) or �9 P in the SS' (planets in the solar system) etc etc ad nauseam .

I knew what the initials stood for but did not know why it was so named this until I saw your 1=ditloid explanation.

I never actually thought it through, I just accepted it as a matter of fact. Thank you.

I can't believe that I've reached this grand old age and have never realised where DITLOID came from. I'm learning more from this site than I did at school!
