did anyone else not like this movie? i didn't understand a lot of it (no really!) because everyone seemed to have difficult accents to understand and the plot was complicated. also the picture was nad and grainy which sort of spoilt it.
They could have cut a half hour out of it, that's for sure. It's nice to see a film where the plot is at the forefront rather than the explosions, but that doesn't excuse dragging it on for the sake of it. It was fairly tight until the moment Farrell's character took the boat to Cuba with his love interest, and then the whole urgency just disappeared. Mann's report card will read "Some good work here, but must not assume that making a film longer makes it better.
