Does anybody know what the code is to block withheld numbers to an ntl landline, i am told it is a couple of numbers with a star to switch on and a couple of numbers with a hash to switch off...this is so you can switch the code on for example you can block withheld numbers for about a month then switch the code off when that person will have stopped calling. I do not want to permanently have it not to accept withheld numbers because unfortunately 2 family members do this.....but speak into the answerphone before i will pick up. I have had a lot of nuisance calls you see and apparently now ntl will not trace your calls as they previously have. they say only the police can do that?
