Has anyone else come across the bizarre trend of girls wearing their pyjamas in public? No, I'm not mad. There is a strange craze in some parts of Merseyside where the wearing of pyjamas by females when walking down the street, shopping, even queueing in the bank, appears to be all the rage. Does anyone know why this is considered fashionable and where the idea comes from?
Hideous isn`t it?I live in merseyside as well, the other day i was in the co-op and in the queue in front of me was a woman of about 30 with her two teenage daughters all wearing pyjamas at 1.30pm.My mum used to say it was"********"to wear your slippers in the street so god knows what she`d have to say about that,ha-ha.Its been around for ages i think,it died out for a while but now its back with a vengeance!
What I don't understand is that they can be bothered to put full make up on and do their hair but getting dressed is beyond them. I live in Liverpool and really cringe when I see some one out in their pjs.
I work in Liverpool and have seen girls doing it and i actually thought i was hallucinating!
i, personally, have only ventured out in the dead of night in my pjs to either visit a relative across the road or to jump in a car. but i would not make a habit out of being seen out in my pjs!
