80's & 90's Themed Party

I am holding an 80's Vs the 90's themed party for me 30th Birthday and wondered if anyone had ever been to a really good 80's or 90's themed party/night?

What made it really good? How was the place decorated? Has anyone got any suggestions at all about how I can make this a very memorable night and transport everyone back to the 80's & 90's?

I had an 80s party for my 30th.
Everyone had to dress in 80s clothes or as a star of the 80s.
we had twister set up, we had loads of 80s music including cheesy favourites like bucks fizz, kajagoogoo and tiffany.
I had posters of Kylie, jason and the rest all around the walls and also i printed off parts of lyrics to songs from the period and had those pinned up.
I managed to get some MD 20/20 drink, made loads of vodka jellies, loads of sweets at the buffet from the 80s (refreshers, black jacks, wham bars etc)

Can't help you any further, I just wanted to say that next time Red has a party I want an invite, they sound excellent!!!

aww thanks BOO. 4get came to the party dressed as a rubik cube and stole all my limelight though so next party will just be me and all the vodka jellies lol
