FYI: Pet Food Recall here in the USA
2 Answers
Not sure how many on here are from the USA and who's from across the pond..the website to check for pet food recall is:
http://www.menufoods.com/recall/
I did not see anything on here except one question about it...it only effects wet: canned and pouch food, not dry kibble. They are trying to figure if it's connected to new wheat gluten mix...just wanted to post this for you.

Thousands, if not millions of cans have been sold. Apparently the identified pet deaths are fairly limited so far, but the continuing investigation appears that, during the testing period before marketing, there several deaths of pets (dog and cats) known to the manufacturer. Thanks again for your interest...
Now reports say it is tied to imported wheat from china with a certain type of rat poison.
I wonder who the genius was that decided.."mmm rats eating wheat..let put out poison to deter them..."
"Danger?"..."no...wheat go to USA..will be fine".
This is why I advocate dry food... and a high quality food at that.
