i had a toy when i was younger and i'm struggling to remember the name of it. this would have been in the 80's and it was a plastic yello stick/tube with a red ball either end. it had a small hole in the middle for plastic string which had a hoop on the end for your finger. you;d then wrap the string round your finger and make the tube wind up and down the string. it looked like a baton. Can anyone help?
Hi, I remember what you had because I had one too. This was a magic stick. The string was suppose to be invisible and with practiced technique you could try and make people believe it was like 'levitating'.. It's an old magicians trick, does that ring a bell?
Description: I remember at the end of the 70's there was this toy called a Magic Stick. It was a long yellow plastic pole with a red plastic ball-shaped knob stuck to each end. The stick was attached to a clear fishing gut with a red hoop that fitted on to your thumb and when moved about it looked like it was moving by itself in the air. I had hours of fun with this!
this is what was posted on the link i left you leanne, happy reminiscing
I remember i REEEEAAAAALLLLLLLLLY wanted one of these when i was a little fella, as the advert showed the baton levitating and the user doing all sorts of cool tricks. I saved up for AGES and then when i got it, i was so angry because it was soooo crap and i could'nt do any of the tricks! Boo-Hoo!
