Yes I know we all have to get to work on time but occasionally you cant. I sat in a big queue this morning and the workmen had stop go signs. The poor blokes were doing all they could, I sat there quite happily then an old git in the car behind me got out and said (well shouted) 'What the F**k are you all playing out' the way in which he shouted and the swearing was damm right rude, it wasnt going to get him to work any quicker. although he was about 70 so I think he was just going to the shop. So I got out my car and said 'shut up and get back in your car'. I just want to know why people are so impatient especially people that overtake you when you are doing the limit then you meet them further down the road anyway.

i hate that, its just rude!! it really bugs me, although i have to say that i was walking down my street (the main st in town) last night and its only a one way st, single little road and this woman had stopped her car halfway up the street to chat to another woman with a buggy, this lead to cars backed up all down the street and they were all tooting their horns etc, which i could understand as surely she could see that her chat was holding everyone up???!!! but like you say if its people working then thats just rude!!!
Well done for standing up to him 4G
good for you 4get. Those roadworks have to be done and as inconvenient as it may be, people have to accept that.

well where did it really get him. And being rude like that if I were the workmen I'd make him wait longer. Doesnt bother me Im the kind of person that can sit behind a tractor happily enough singing to my music and they pull over for you because you havent been impatient. I guess Ive lost to many people in car crashes its not worth it.
I agree 4get , impatient drivers are a danger and , most of the time , as you say , you meet them further up the road . As the saying goes ....better to be late Mr. Jones than the late Mr. Jones .

never heard that, thats a good one. I had someone up my bumper the other week when I was doing limit (30 on country road) and he overtook me on a blind bend then when I got round it he was stuck behind a harvester Ha ha

happy bday for yesterday 4get x

and i know what you mean, i was in a queue at tesco's and the cashier was on her own and was going as fast as she could, but this idiot behind me just kept maoning about it, like its her fault ffs
I can't stand being stuck behind dithering, inconsistent drivers, 'specially the ones that do window shopping from behind the wheel, or slow down to enjoy the scenery!

On the other hand, maniacs who come speeding up behind you, flashing for you to get out of their way, when they can see full well you can't move over to the left, due to a line of cars & lorries being there, shouldn't be on the road at al!
