Why are the british so rascist?

Following on from some previous posts about foreigners with rucksacks and jews and muslims im wondering why are the british so rascist?
Britain was behind slavery,persecutionj of the jews,crusading against the muslims in the 13th century,we ruled india and pakistan and australia and treated the indigenous population like second class citizens.
Why are the british like this?
Afterall look around yopu and ask is this such a great place that we can judge others?A country of workshy chavs who would rather drink and do drugs than an honest days work.I think we are a country in decline still living on the memories of the british empire.

no miss random, i meant on here, I dont try to change people opinions on here, that is a waste of time. i won't be changing any of my opinions on anything because of what other people say here either. As for people expressing their opinions, that is their opinion, we can say how we feel about it, but we shouldn't judge if it is right or wrong.

i think we all judge others on their views, wether we should voice our judgments, maybe not. i havent been on ab long and i am just starting to learn, that we cant change others. however i would like to think that i would possibly change my views on hearing someone elses opinions, they may say something i hadnt thought of or didnt know about or that i was just plain wrong. i wont be changing my opinions on the fact that i think lots of views on here are racist. i mean deport all muslims, thats crazy.

As I say, I believe in 'free speech' & all that, but if someone on AB were making jokes about an innocent little two year old girl who was recently raped & strangled - they would soon see a few asterisks in my response posts!

That's why I didn't participate in that particular thread - it was too upsetting for words.

I do understand what you mean missrandom. It takes time to find your way around AB & soon realise what you should & shouldn't say - but some people just don't hold back & post before 'thinking' - then sometimes try to retract what they've said!

I can't answer your Q legend as I'm not british, but after being o AB for some time, I've seen many posters for what they are.

I've decided its a waste of my time and energy to argue or have an intelligent discussion with them as people rarely change.

So each to their own but I can see why many good posters left AB some time ago. It just gets tiresome and tedious having the same argument over and over again and you think of all the more useful things you could have done with your time instead of responding to twits and boring fatheads on this site.

Please don't tar every AB'er with the same brush feist - only that's what some people tend to do on here & it can cause problems....

Incidentally, apart from leading a relatively busy life - that's another reason I stopped posting on here so much!

Having said that - there are some very nice, kind, genuine, sensible people on AB too.

what a load of twaddle we once ruled world as you will see from all old maps etc in RED
this doesn't meen we are racist we just understand that to return power to a lot of the world has led to anarchy as we can all see from the African states and some iof the middle eastern states
We as a country are now taking the refugees from the anarchy that has occured since we gave back the states to the original inhabitants and the time scale does not seem to matter as there are still despots even after 100 years and we still accept the residue in this country
we are not racist just pragmatic

Britain is no more racist than any other country, and much less racist than many, even in Europe.

The time it will become racist is when it is finally and inexorably muslim. It will then also be religionist, homophobic, and misogynist.

i am british, and i am proud , perhaps that a downfall of mine..........im not racist, you dont know weather or not i am multi racial, all i know is ,i hate terrorism, i dislike people that are racists, there is good and bad in all countries and populations. Im getting tired of racism............ because it is killing the planet.............the most most important thing is education, educate our offspring
