category c write off
Bought a car off a neighbour which had been written off by his insurance company due to someone driving into the back of him, back light broken and rear back panel pushed in,i wanted it for spares only and then to scrap it,when it was originally purchased by my neighbour,he bought it as a category c write off,and this was written on th v5 log book, the wife has decided she wants it repaired as the damage isn't very severe so she can use it.it still had 8 months mot left on it.i've just read through some previous questions on this site that the car has to have a vosa inspection and can this be done twice,as this is the 2nd time this car has been written off and it had also been hit at the back the 1st time.and is the mot valid or do i need to get a new one done after the vosa test.,the v5 has been filled out with my details aswell and posted off but as i haven't done anything with the car yet will it still come back in my name.
thanks
