does it worry you about how scary it must be when your going to be the little old man or woman walking down the road to the shops ....i just saw a old man walking and said to my kids how scary it must be when your old ...told them to kill me when im 60 as i dont want to be old ...
the problem with age is that you dont feel like your getting old until you hear yourself been described as "look at that old woman" ect
I think its a good thing that you dont realise you are getting old because it can be a depressing thought and I for one am in favour of living in denial.
Oh no - can't agree BJB (hi!). I want to live to be at least 100, and from the age of sixty I'll dash around in one of those electric scooter things, shouting at everyone to get out of my way.
Hopefully by the time I get to an age where I'm scared to go out of my own back door, the government'll have done something about the nasty riff raff who like to make peoples lives unbearable, and the rest'll be more tolerant of us oldies! x
You won't even notice yourself getting older, you look in the mirror and one day your mum or dad are looking back at you, but the only other option is to give up and die, I love life I love travelling and fishing, it is not as bad as you think once you get there enjoy the journey, its one way, no return tickets on this trip :-)
4get - you should see my grandmother in jeans!!! From the back view, she looks like a 20 year old. Not quite the same when she turns round though - but still superb for a lady of her age.
Mistys - wear it up! I'm never going to bow to the obligatory short curly perm!
