When you were a child what "things" were considered posh which are now common. Not common like a tup'penny ha'penny scrubber from Cardiff, but common as in everyday.

I am predominently focusing on food, but anything will do.

Off the top of my head:

1) Volivents

2) Salmon in all guises

3) Tiramisu

a computer
I would say its down to affordability and competition amongst retailers as well as technological advancement.

I could also say that having a PC was considered posh, and not that long ago either.

Anyway, getting back to food, Thorntons choccies were considered quite posh.

Salmon and tiramisu are both still delicious. I wouldn't have ever said they were posh, neither were delicacies or ever only affordable by the wealthy. It's not like caviar or truffles.

I used to think only posh people went to a salon to have their nails done, or legs waxed etc but most women I know seem to do that at least monthly.

Gym memberships too, that was something only posh people did when I was a kid, now most of us at least sign up at new year.
