In Borneo men of certain tribe may suddenly and without reason punish or even beat up thei wife. Also they may feel enmity towards their neighbor,again suddenly and for no reason. Why does this happen?

I imagine if this is the case, then any domestic violence and neighbour-hating is done for the same inexcusable reasons it is done in many societies across the globe.
...er that is not to say that if women didn't have equal rights it would be excusable, but your Q is a bit vague.
Probably much the same reason that some white anglo-saxon men bash their wives and hate their neighbours.

Perhaps it is a frustrating reaction to the invasion of modern Men upon their ethnic way of life. Pressure to conform to modern ways in favour of customary practices has to be quite dramatic for them. Even nowadays, daily headhunting is still practiced amongst the more remote tribes.
