Why is it that english people in general think that they are superior to everyone else in the world?

It is funny that most posters above have taken this on face value, �as read� if you like, that the English do indeed trot across the globe with feelings and actions of superiority.

I would begin by asking the Qer, upon what basis is this assumption/accusation made, and where is the evidence for me to see it with my own eyes?

Perhaps a little reseach into the pre-colonial history of Ethiopia might be in order or Zimbabwe.

I've met English, Welsh Scotish, Irish, Ameriacan and so on and so on......... that have thought themselves to be superior! I don't think it's a nationality thing, just think there are people out there who give that impression (wherever the're from!)
