And the One of the first signs of the poltergeist infestation was a series of disturbing messages left on their son's doodle board. 'Die b!tch', 'RIP' and 'Go b!tch now to your mam' had been scrawled on the message board. They were followed by the appearance of Satanic-looking symbols. Their origin remains a mystery.
One minute its a doodle board, now its a message board, could be Satan, but noone knows. Conclusively inconclusive.
I just find it all quite amusing.

I read it thinking we were going to get an image of the phenomenon, and I wondered about the 'poor quality' on digital equipment.
Apparently it's all in this book:

Gosh - and you have to pay for the book to see the images, do you..? Hmmm ;-)
Check this to see the author getting shirty with someone who dare suggest this book might be a crock:

Couldn't help but notice some of the points raised in the previous postings, so I've tried to provide a few answers. Sorry if I sounds a bit terse, but to be honest some of the points raised seem a bit crass. Others are reasonable questions. If I've mistaken a bit good-natured teasing for ill-founded sarcasm then I apologise in advance maybe I'm getting as bit touchy in my twilight years!
The length of my reply means I'll have to continue it in the following post...
Yep All I saw was waffle, no images, no proof apart from some attention seeking dellusionists.
You spelt delusionist wrong, but never mind your proof of this is what, exactly? How do you know they were attention-seeking or delusional? Do you know the experients? Were you there? The experients can hardly be attention-seeking as they have consistently rebuffed all media contact. Perhaps you were talking about the authors, then. If so, how do you know that we were attention-seeking or delusional? Mind you, its pretty hard to write a controversial book without gaining attention, so you've got me there.
Actually, the Daily Mail was given a good number of images to use by our publisher but simply chose not to I'm not sure why. We'd have preferred it if they had used some to illustrate the article, but at the end of the day its their paper and they have to use illustrations as they and not we see fit. Some of them are in the book.
yeah, cant really offer an opinion without the film.
Very true, and it will hopefully be released soon. We're currently negotiating with a major documentary maker.

I'm not sure what your issue is here or why this troubles you. They were one and the same article; you know, just like car/vehicle, flannel/facecloth, etc...

Actually, very few commercial books are given away free. That's how writers and publishers make a living.
Check this to see the author getting shirty with someone who dare suggest this book might be a crock:
Actually, I got shirty with the blogger because of his sarcasm and ad hominem attacks not because he didn't like the book which, by the way, he had merely leafed through in a bookshop. Call me old-fashioned, but I've always thought that if you're going to rubbish a book you should at least have the decency to read it thoroughly first.
The way I see it, sensible people who disagree with things will offer constructive, reasoned criticisms in a civilised manner and not lower themselves to silly one-liners that do nothing to advance our understanding. Darren and I don't mind criticism in the least, providing its sensible and not reduced to name-calling. Nothing wrong with that, surely?
Anyway, I hope this helps clear a few things up. BTW, where can I get one of those petroleum-powered cameras..?

Innit marvellous that people want to be believed but want you to pay first to see the evidence.
Innit amazing that with cameras in mobile phones and everything no-one actually snaps one of these little ghosties.
Innit a coincidence how many of these poltergeist attacks seem linked to requests for a council house exchange.

Isn't it amazing that many photographs were taken with mobile phones in the house in question, many of them showing genuine instances of poltergeist activity?
Isn't it amazing that some people expect professional writers to give their book away free?
Isn't it enlightening that the family concerned owned their house and didn't rent it?

I ordered the book from play, because this story really intrests me. I am of the mind that the human mind can ause these manifestations. I don't mean imagiation I mean some kind of telekinesis which the person doesn't seem to have control over. This usually is brought on by stress and surounds one person mainly. From what is described it seems to be marianne (shades of Borely rectory with that name). I only wish I could have been there to witness these events
I will reserve my judgement of this case untill I have read the book cover to cover. I have always been interested in ghosts and poltergeist's so it should make an interesting read at least. I think people should be more open minded to this sort of thing. If there is ground breaking footage then I can't wait to see it in that docu they were talking about. Could they post a part on Youtube for people to see?Apologies for my bad spelling on the first post.
