Following on from an earlier post, where it seems that people are happy to not pay taxes that are due (if they won't get caught), are the same people happy to condone benefit cheats?

I'm also repaying debts for a younger and more niave China Doll and have actually considered going bankrupt because of current circumstances but have found another way to carry on paying back for my stupid youth. Well at least for another three months at any rate!
As someone currently receiving benefits I frankly can not understand why anyone would choose to live their lives in this way. I find it a soul destroying (harsh terms but true) lifestyle so for someone to be on benefits and working cash in hand too... well it's just unfair isn't it. Especially for those of us who are actually trying to play the game by the rules. Today I was given the third degree for being unable to attend my signing on date due to having a job interview which I'd of course informed them about already. As I said, why anyone would choose to live like this is beyond me.

i know of at least 2 people on benifits and working cash in hand, as much as i want to report them the bad feeling / impact it would have is just to much..to close to home. etc.
one of them is claiming invalidity or sickness , not sure which, has been for over 15 years probably a lot longer , just lost track. He is working for cash you wouldnt think there was anything wrong with him..what i cant understand is why they dont get investigated and how they get away with it for so long...????????
