What a rude person you are, Ethel. Abdulmajid was asking a legitimate question. You could have enlightened him/her without resorting to abuse. Do you know everything there is to know about all topics, or have you ever needed to ask for information? I was just thinking about religion and knew the cow was sacred (apologies for saying scared, first time). And then wondered about bulls and bullocks.

I apologise if my knowledge is not up to your standards, but if you posted a question on James Bond or David Bowie and I answered "STOP BEING SO BLOODY THICK" you may wonder why?

I really fail to see how any tongue in cheek is either shown or assumed in the question. But that's cyber-world for ya!!!!

It is more accurate to say the cow is taboo in Hinduism, rather than sacred.


Also, I didn't say I know everything about Bowie and Bond - I said if I wanted to know I would use Google. I do know that your user id is the title of a piece of music by Bowie. :) Although my very favourite Bowie track is The Laughing Gnome. :|
