Where the hell do banana midges come from???

Please someone answer this question which plague's me daily!

Banana midges are a blooming knightmare, if you were to buy a banana and seal it in an air tight container they would still get in, do they live inside the banana or something?

What ever alien technology they are using the government should utilise it!

So do you not eat bananas or do you eat them really quick before they over ripen?
I've got a bunch at home right now, they're ripening and look very yellow with bruised patches.

But there are no midges!!!

Do you mean fruit flies, little black flies?????

Well i call them banana midges just as a joke really but a generally mean a fruit fly, although not clued up on midge/ fly species lol they are very small and imposible to catch and squash in you hand.

Running round office right now clapping hands in the air to get the midges, what will the office across the road think?
Them little black flies are annoying!!

Especially in the heat of the summer, they seem to multiply and settle on everything in the kitchen.
i was imagining a bright yellow banna shaped midge.......... ok i think i need to go and lie down for a bit
I have loads of them in my back garden, they get in your ears, nose and hair.

lol put your feet up mcfluff what u decribed sounded like the bread and butter flies in the disney alice in wonderland film.
i never realy realised in bananas lol but they are annoying the same as th green flyes am gonna look next time i et sum bananas lol xxxxxx
