Is it normal to be female and single nowadays?

Infact is it infact the norm and quite cool?

Whereas in days gone by it wouldve led to you being called a spinster or old maid now is it cool to be a single woman ?
And has the increase in , or the perceived increase in lesbianism contributed to this in any way ?

Q: "Is it normal to be female and single nowadays? "

A: That appears to make me 'abnormal'. I'm definitely single but the last time I took a look 'down below' I decided that I'm definitely not female! ;-)
Question Author
no sara im askin a sensible question

theres certainly rise in lipstick lesbianism

well theres a rise when i see it

as i said theres a rise in lipstick lesbianism but is terea real rise or not ?

are single woman a bit strange ??
Chris, as long as there are more women than men, yes, I guess you fall short of the norm... The upside is you're more in demand than they are (with luck)
Question Author
chris are you drinkin heavily again ?

remember what the doctor said?

ffs chris 2 litres of vodka a day ?no thats not safe

lol

Being single is no 'stranger'for women than for men....and it probably is all to do with women having more freedom, disposable income, not needing to be dependent on anyone(male)
Lipstick lesbianism seems to be the current fashion...again because it is now acceptable and needn't be hidden...looks like it is popular amongst the young. maybe it is 'cool'..lol
No it's not blinkin cool when you need to

a) do more DIY than a hammer and nail can fix
b) take the lid off jars when it is tight
c) dispose of spiders.

Otherwise, its tickety boo. I like having my own space, my own time and my own money - none of which I had when I was married.
I think single women are as lovely as married women.

In fact, IMHO, I think all women are lovely.
Jno: Oh, I wish I could really believe that I'm 'in demand'! ;-)

Leggy: I swear that it's only red wine. (Yes, far too much of it, but definitely not vodka!)

No-Know: As my posts have shown, I value facts. It's only right that I should check every so often to ensure that they hold true ;-)
Well-I can open a jar AND dispose of spiders.....so no probs...maybe i should hire myself out???
I think its homosexuality. Look at pop-stars at their pinnacle, Robbie/GMichael/Elton etc they prefer to share their lives with other men.

However, hi-earning career women can't find men to match their incomes and thereby make themselves 'unmarriageable'. These women live by high-standards which few men can attain and make men feel inferior.
