School Reunions

Have you ever been to one / would you go to one?

Would you have any uncertainties about going?

If I'm honest I have a hang up about being so much bigger than I used to be! I'd be waiting for the "you look "well" comments".

Not sure if it's a goer yet but been invited to a do this weekend with a load of old school friends. I moved out of my home town well over 10 years ago and probably won't have seen some people since secondary school.

Not sure who's going but there may be some people there I'd love to see.

I know I'm probably being silly but just wondered if anyone else has had a reunion experience?

I went to one when i was in my 40s. It was a 25th anniversary re-union and it was really nice to catch up with people I hadn't seen for all those years. I think you'll find that people have changed over the years - you won't be the only one

I organised one 8 years ago. It was really good. Over 100 people came and everyone enjoyed it. I didn`t get home until 4am.lol (don`t ask)

It's not so much an organised reunion but someone I went to school with is trying to contact old school friends of another guy I went to infants and junior school with as his partner is organising a surprise birthday party.

I'm not even sure who's going yet and there are some people I have kept in touch with I'd love to go and see.

I feel a bit mean trying to work out who's going first though it would be quite a bit of travelling and train and taxi fares, staying overnight and organising a cat sitter.

I'd never go to one - reason being that I've kept in touch with all the school friends that I want to anyway.
