I really really really need a lie in and more time in the day. It's so annoying at work too cus colleague goes out thurs eve gets drunk and arrives in office about 10.30 - 11 when working hrs are 9-5 and I am the only one that gets there on time. They do sometimes let me go early and I think the ratio is just about fair at the moment.

Quite disgusting and typical of UK today.....the should be sacked. Don't let them drag you down to their level and gud on yer angel.
Aww angel i know how you feel, i turn up to work on time everyday, whereas my other two colleagues 20-30mins late, they then spend 20mins making tea, half an hour later they spend another 20mins making toast, then some occasions they pop to tescos or ainsley for bread or what ever they normally get.... ive worked out .. they only prob do about 3 hours of work!

i feel like a mug sometimes.

thanks its quite annoying sometimes. I don't get a lie in for genuine tiredness but he does from self inflicted hangover.
every workplace has them, drives me mad too >:(
are management aware of their lazy and unprofessional attitudes towards their contracted working hours?
Question Author
not fully aware but I don't like to complain as they sometimes let me go early but then I can't work out if he's having more time lying in than I am leaving early - thats when it gets unfair.

I feel like a mug sometimes to whitebear - and I make the tea get all the crappy jobs
EmEd,

i get paid by the hour, the supervisor is aware of this, one of the colleague had been working here longer than me, and there is no full week hes ever been on time. 2 years hes been here. the supervisor dosnt say anything cos hes sometimes late himself. i think its a disgrace, and so unffair that ppl like them gets paid the same full hour where as they spend most of their time doing no work,..
Question Author
Whitebear poor you that is so unfair. Is there anyone higher than superviser you can go to? you shouldn't have to put up with this
totally agree, I got so sick of it at my last place I actually left. One of the culprits got promoted over me, even with virtually every Monday off sick, cigarette breaks every hour and gross misconduct!
and for me im doing most of the work and correcting their mistakes. just frustrates me!

i know that if i leave or take one week off work they will fall apart. cos its normally me thats keep the whole thing flowing smoothly!
Question Author
Same here Whitebear. I am the only organised one here and my job doesn't exactly take a genius but they would be lost without me
see the worse u are the better u got on in this life .im to good thats why im where i am lol
