Excel - Forumla - Timeline EXCLUDING Weekends!

Long winded but hopefully not too complex one this....

I am trying to create a timeline that will work out the processes and timeframes involved in creating something, using excel.

The scenario, in simplified short format:
1) An applicant applied for something
2) paperwork is carried out in the office (files set up etc), 3) the application is sent to a panel, the decision is made and the
4) awarding/rejection letter is sent out.
This will all take 6 weeks. All is dependent on the panel dates, which we have set for the year.

What I want to do is put a panel date in from a drop down (DONE) and then dependent on what this date is, it will auto-fill all of the other steps as detailed above (DONE). What I am struggling with is weekends. Obviously if it takes 7 days to go from panel to a written letter, I want this to be 7 WORKING days, not 7 days including a weekend.

Does that make sense? It is the final piece of the puzzle and I cannot crack it! I assume I have to use IF rules, which I am comfortable with.

Install the Analysis ToolPak add-in to access the WORKDAY function.
