ID Theft?

Hi all, sometime this week my partner has managed to lose both of our photo card driving licences. Im a little worried about identity theft if their found by the wrong person. Is their anything I can do to prevent this? I have been on the DVLA website but it doesn't say alot really, apart from how to apply for a new one???????

Definitely report it to the DVLA asap so they know in case anyone else produces or uses it in some way so you have proof you didn't have them.
