Cartoonist Unger

My favorite cartoon is "Herman"; by Canadian cartoonist Unger. I was wondering if he is alive; or are his cartoons that I see syndicated and recycled from years ago. At one time he was quite ill. I hope he is recovered and back at it again.

Well here I am answering my own question. After I posted I did Wikip.; he alive and well and living in Canada. I must get his latest collection. I giggle even thinking about some of his cartoons. He sure did get "old people" well!

No way, Jno. Have a look here, and go through the last month's worth of 'Herman'.
I first saw Unger's work on offshore safety posters, and I've been a fan ever since.

ah, right, I recognise his style. Not a big believer in middle-aged women being smart, then?

Not just the women, Jno, but also middle-aged men! My favourite safety poster (originally in colour) is this one. Been there... Done it !!
