Rudeness

It seems that everytime i ask a question on here i am met with a barrage of rudeness...why? I cant see why people cant just give helpful advise which is what this website is about instead of saying this and that, making comments and judging who you personally are in a nasty way when all you did was ask a Q!!!?? Its really a shame, I always try and reply to peoples posts on here friendly and polite and give good, HELPFUL advise instead of being this rude, unhelpful, cruel, judging person.... why are people like it? :-/

Most people will give you a sensible answer if you ask a sensible clear question, but there are some people posting questions who are just a wind-up and it's sometimes difficult to tell the difference. It's a risk you take when you post on a public site.

Don't take it personally Ilson, there are a few jokers on here and it can take a while to get used to their idea of funny. There's also the occasional a**ehole, but if you learn to filter through the negative comments and ignore them, you'll find that there is actually a lot of sound advice in there too. Don't take it to heart and have patience. I've been on here a couple of years (I think) and I still feel like a newcomer a lot of the time, but it gets better and as you get to know the different characters you'll learn whose advice you value and who you choose to ignore.

Don't let comments wind you up, rise above it, fight fire with fire

If people know their sarcastic comments wind you up they will just do it even more

and then you will end up 'flouncing off'

karenmac is right! Don't take it to heart, there are some really good folk on here, they're very helpful and friendly!..............and then there are the others!.....but you'll soon get to know who is who, and then you'll be fine...............stick with it for a while!..........

I know what you mean. Ive soon got to know how some peoples minds work and take their comments with a pinch of salt. Dont give up on us. Most of us are good

Keep on posting ilsonchick. A few people like to joke now and again but most are good. Just ignore any rude replies.
