...which ABer would you want with you?

Either because they are interesting company
or because they would be the best chance of figuring out how to get off the island
or because you could make them into your 'man friday' and get them to do all the hard work.

Or for any other reason.

I;m reading a Karen Rose book at the moment and it is about a chat forum where a serial killer has groomed grown (tut) women via a web site where users post under assumed IDs and he spends months gaining thier trust until they are persuaded to meet him and then he glues their eyelids open after drugging them with a syringe and then he rapes them and hangs them as though they have committed suicide, but he keeps their shoes,

So noone at the moment.,
Not Dot---LOL

Crazy book!
An Aber that had a speed boat {: 0}
dothawkes, how do you sleep at night after reading that?
ooh Dothawkes just read that one too. awful wasn't it.. I'm taking Redman, he will be my willing slave...and we can talk football if we get bored..
Well tonight seems to be a WBA night!! so if he can stop yapping about football for five minutes it would be him.. I'd teach him to speak 'Sussex'.. ;-)
I've just read Fever of The Bone by Val McDermaid and so don't have a problem sleeping , wish Kathy Reichs would get her next one out it's been a year almost.
Buenchico...he always has good ideas and answers. I believe he is multilingual, which may be helpful if/when native people find us.
good choice Rowan...........he is an ex navy man you know....
Barmaid - 'cos we could finally consummate our relationship!

OR

Chuck - 'cos we could bore each other to death with 'techie' talk (while probably working out how to brew some booze from the local fruit!)

OR

Molly - 'cos, despite 15 years teaching 16 year old girls, I still want to try to understand what teenage girls are really all about ;-)

Anyway, I don't want to be stranded on a DESERT island. I want to be stranded on a DESSERT island, with an unlimited supply of puddings, trifles, etc ;-)
Mercia Island...
Dot she's apparently got one due out next month called Spider Bones.
I'm sharing doc with puss....'cause he can fish and we can have campfire jamborees
Oh, I've only just seen EngTeach's post! (Thank you ET!)

Multilingual? Well, I can ask for a beer in almost every European language but, beyond that, I tend to get stuck. (However I'm an expert at pointing and gesturing, so maybe I would be able to communicate with any locals who might turn up!)
MarkRae, we could argue happily for the rest of our days about syntax....
