Hilary Clinton has just been on telly saying that the "wiki" leaks are damaging for international diplomatic relations.

This from the woman who instructed US diplomatic staff to spy on America's own UN allies, and to try to get hold of their computers passwords.

Well, fair play to her for standing there - with a straight face! - and blaming the media.

indeed... and this is the woman who insists US diplomats shouldn't pay the congestion charge in London. (Well, I don't know if she's taken a personal stand on it but that's State Department policy)

If they moved the American Embassy out of Grosvenor Square, and all their diplomatic residences out of Mayfair, and relocated in Outer London - or in Birmingham (for instance) - then they wouldn't have to pay the congestion charge.

It;s called Diplomatic Immunity, whereby foreign ambassadors are immune to local bylaws, fines etc.
Fair do's to Hilary the things that are being aired are damaging to all international diplomatic relations. It's not just the USA that are being shown up its the Uk as well. IMHO these leaks should not have been allowed.

"transparency of Government" and how honest they all are ...

... when they are secretly trying to steal secrets from our own allies?

Are we happy to elect people like that, and have them rule our lives?

The thing is, they have decided it is not the equivalent of a parking charge but a tax and therefore they don't have to pay it; and no doubt they will continue with this line of thinking any time they want to drive into town. I'm not sure how they get to classify British laws in this fashion.

You see ... even six years ago, Hillary was ludicrous. Back then, I never thought that she might actually be a serious candidate for President.
