Friends Reunited

I was just looking at my old secondary school on Friends Reunited and wondered what year members went back to. I found a lady who had left my old school in 1932, that makes her 94 years old. There was no-one else on that page with her, and nobody at all until 1935. So I don't think anyone would've contacted her, and it made me feel a bit sad. I'm hoping someone would've contacted her, it wouldn't necessarily show up on her profile, that someone had written to her, unless she'd named them as a friend . .. Is that right?

I think that if she entered the year that she left the school, then other members would appear, if there were any!..............long shot though!........

94 and on friends reunited, well you've got to admire her optimism let alone her computer skills. I'm sure she has got friends in real life so don't get too down about it...

I've a similar listing on my primary school section. The biggest problem for me is that the school was built in 1957. I think there's a guy by the name of Phil Space in charge at F. R.

Yes, you have to make contact on FU, it's not like FB. I've had some school friends leave messages but nobody else would be able to see the messages.

Thank you for your answers. She's probably had messages then from people, but others wouldn't see them. The school is about one hundred and forty years old. Any previous (previous to her) ex pupils will have passed away. Even though I only knew it as a girl's school, there is a man's name listed as leaving in 1935. (he was on a page by himself too) I like to think at least he and her have messaged each other, as they were in the same school at the same time, even though not in the same class. :-)

Billym, I admire her too, and the old man for having the computer skills and enough marbles to join Friends Reunited. You can tell by their old-fashioned first names that they are genuine old people, and not just people who have accidentally entered the wrong year.
