Parental spirits

Without turning this into a 'are ghosts real thread' has anyone witnessed the below phenonenem?

I've often heard of people saying after their mum/dad has passed away, soon after they get a breif visit from said parent. Just a fleeting image, sometimes sat on the corner of the bed etc. Usually it is a comforting experience, just to let you know they're OK or you're going to be OK.

The mind does funny things when one is grieving and it is no doubt very comforting, but as for fact, it is boolshait.

I'd have had heart failure if mine had shown up - I'd be thinking that I hadn't cleaned the house (always used to clean before she visited).

Mmmm - am pretty sure that I had a fleeting visit from recently deceased grandma - whilst driving in my car (of all the places...go figure.) Had never met her in real life as she lived 13,000 miles away and did not grieve for her much, if at all. But I defintely felt her there -out of the blue - passing by just to see if I was doing OK. It felt safe and, yes I know, sounds totally loopy even to me as I was and still am a stubborn non-believer.

According to the bible, there CANNOT be 'ghosts'...spiritual parts of persons now deceased...because whatever people see or think they see...are ACTIVE...ON THE EARTH.
(Ecclesiastes 9:5-6) For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten. 6 Also, their love and their hate and their jealousy have already perished, and they have no portion anymore to time indefinite in anything that has to be done under the sun.

If the dead are NOT CONSCIOUS , then they cannot be active.
So the only answer to any paranormal activity is demon activity...'

And his demons came with him...They are stuck on the earth right up till Armageddon.
And causing us lots of grief...wars, anger, road rage etc etc.

Some figures I read a while back said.. A large percentage of people have this happen. Of course they wont admit.It`s put down to grief and other things. Personally my view is if you are determined to come back. For whatever reason. Who is to say we cant?

1. A friend's father literally dropped dead unexpectedly. 200 miles away his young grandchild (who did not know about his death) told her parents that grandad had just been to see her and say 'goodnight'.
2. Another young child told her mother that her daddy didn't like the dress she was wearing. Asked how she knew the child said he had just been and told her.
3. Shortly before he died my father - who believed in absolutely NOTHING, was completely devoid of any imagination and had no time for anyone who did, was surprised to find that he heard a door 'blow' open. When he turned he saw his long dead brother who told him not to worry everything would be alright.
None of these people know each other. They have never met and live hundreds of miles apart from each other. All these stories have been told to me first hand by those involved. I have never discussed any of them with any of the others. I don't understand any of them. I have no answer but it is an intriguing series of events.

load of hogwash. my father died 11 years ago and not heard a scooby since. When you're dead you are dead, end off, get over it. Enjoy your life while you can, it too will end one day.
