NEW QUIZ AVAILABLE
0 Answers
Some of you may remember my Alphabet Quiz sheets over the years, and in particular the “Find the Lady” quiz back in the autumn of 2008. That seemed to go down very well, and raised over £240 for Wragby & District Swimming Club. I am no longer involved with W & DSC, and have had nearly a year’s rest from compiling quizzes, but the urge has come upon me again …
This new quiz, for Lincoln Cat Care, is called “Manhunt”, and is along the same lines as “Find the Lady”. It is in the form of a rather silly story, in which are hidden over 120 different boys names, including some popular shortened forms e.g. Ed, Al etc., and variations of the same name. All you have to do is underline as many as you can find. Some appear several times, but each name counts once only. You may well find some in there that I hadn’t noticed! There will be a cash prize of £15 for the person who finds the most, and a draw for a £5 prize out of all entries received, regardless of the number of names found. From past experience I know that the sheet can get a bit messy and unreadable, so it’s fine to submit a separate list (in the correct order, please) with your entry.
If you would like a copy of “Manhunt”, please send £1 (coin taped securely to a piece of card) or cheque made payable to Jenny H. Hadingham, together with an s.a.e. to:
Jenny Hadingham,
2 Chapel Court,
Silver Street,
Wragby,
Market Rasen,
Lincolnshire.
LN8 5PJ.
All the money raised, minus the prizes, will be donated to Lincoln Cat Care, Registered Charity No. 1114359, after the closing date which is Monday, 6th June, 2011.
