I am patient with stupidity, but not with those who are proud of it.

Just as someone might accuse you of being a bit slow and ilitorette
that was aimed at dear old Brenden

but you can share it if you like em
zeuhl, who was that directed at?
ilitorette, please explain Zeuhl
can you at least spell it correctly, or was that supposed to be ironic too.
OMG

have you all taken a stupid bill this afternoon?

illiterate: unable to read or write
accusing someone whilst demonstrating that fault yourself

racist: displaying racial prejudice
accusing someone whilst demonstrating that fault yourself

Good grief - this is harder than doing my work! ;-)
'stupid bill' is obviously intended to be less offensive than 'stupid pill'
I think you fit that explanation very nicely Zeuhl
well you didn't spell it correctly the first time, so we weren't sure if you were being ironic. As to bill, who is he?
Brenden

sorry but that is the lamest put-down ever LOL

Go back to sleep
WHOOSH!

LOL @ Zeuhl.

goodlife,
Famously (some would say infamously) said by Ricky Gervais at the end of last year's Golden Globe Awards, a quip which apparently offended more watching American's than anything else Ricky said in the show.

The Yanks just don't do irony.....
<well you didn't spell it correctly the first time so we weren't sure if you were being ironic.>
Of course it wasn't spelt correctly - that was the point

Based on my other posts, did you seriously consider the spelling <ilitorette> was accidental?

Good grief
enough already..answer the question or start a thread for silly arguments.
We answered it earlier.

Try reading the posts before you stick your oar in.
You are in a bad mood zeuhl and I have read the posts,I just think that Goodlife is being very tolerant, having had his thread hijacked, must have turned the other cheek or is praying to god to smite the unbelievers :-)
jomifl we did, religion in all its g*ory, not for me.
jomifl

not a bad mood just frustrated.

i'd keep putting smiley faces at the end of all my 'attacks' but that just gets tedious.

actually we have not hijacked - we are on topic. Goodlife seems to not understand the irony of the phrase and we have been bickering about what might or might not be similar examples.

So butt out (just being ironic :-)
Question Author
Getting back to the topic - are you saying atheists more devout than those who believe in a god?
I don't think it's possible to measure how devout someone is, is it?

For example you have no idea how devoutly I do not believe in the existence of a 'god' or any other celestial object or deity.
I agree Philtaz, they are equally devout in their beliefs all part and parcel of being a free thinking human I suppose.
