The place seems much quieter without them...

jno, actually I think two of them are currently dangling, but I suspect that isn't as a result of the action of any of the regular non-believers here. In my experience, they don't 'report' posters for any reason - least of all to silence them. Rational argument requires no assistance. It stands on its own merits - and most of us are adult enough to allow it to do so.

Sandy, very elegant, I'm sure. ;o)
I hope none of the regular atheists have connived in the suspension of two of my favourite SS men, Elderman and Shanghi. They were both great fun. Losing Sith would make my misery complete.
Still, Sandy, we can always rely on your apostolic presence.
I retract my earlier remark about constancy, Sandy: you have undergone a most unpleasant metamorphosis.
vetuste, the divine wrath of Gravatar is not to be trifled with. Many bear its mark adn still tremble at the memory of it.
... and sandy is restored
Who trembles jno?
I missed that, was Sandy transiently transformed, transubstantiated, transmogrified, transfigured, transmuted and has he now transcended all that?
Hallelujah, jno! He was lost, but now is found.
Do you know if the process of beatification can start in one's life time? I can see Sandy with a blessed in front of his name, can't you?
If it were transubstantiation, Jomifli, it certainly wouldn't be anything you would want to eat at mass; he became something very unpleasant in blue.
Even though I got the "pathetic insult" from shanghi after the berating of Elderman for yet another quotation from the Tower, I did not hit the report button. Jomifl berated him for his ill-chosen words too (thanks, jomifl).

However, someone must have read it and felt that it was too excessive, too personal. Maybe the Ed himself given that he probably now has his own watch-tower over them..... And both seemed to go together, suggesting that Elderman is indeed Shanghi.

Remember the Shanghi (great name for a JW on the hunt) only emerged after E was put over the edge of the Clifton Suspension Bridge for the first time and Naomi (if I remember right), picked up on that.
I didn't think for a moment it was you who pressed the button DT. As you say his words were 'pathetic', so not worth tripping over your bottom lip for. Much better to stand your ground. :o)

Shanghi did appear when Elderman vanished, but as Vetuste (I think) said, I don't think they are one and the same. Elderman, unlike Shanghi, can't string two words together - well at least not two that make sense. :o)

One of the major hurdles on the path towards sainthood is to have two miracles associated with ones good works.
I'm beginning to believe it would be a miracle indeed if I could even set one agnostic ABer on the path to salvation. So, I'll have to be smugly contented with the knowledge that a good deed is its own reward.
There's talk of metamorphosis. Did I turn into the great black beetle again?
Is there a St Sandy yet?

We can nominate you, if you wish.

I found that there was a huge list of Sainties for the 13th - the thread on Friday the 13th earlier......
Naw jomifil his soul transmigrated.
Henceforward be known as Gregor, Sandy.

The intractable problem is the miracles. I once harboured a slight hope for Naomi, that she might repent of her Godless ways and return to the loving embrace of the church, but as times passes i think it most unlikely.
So, reluctantly, I see that the halo of sainthood is not for me.
But thanks for offering a nomination.
St Gregor even.

When I did hold those hopes I thought I'd take as my saintly name: St Aloysius of the Lower Falls. This would pay a sort of homage to my favourite St and the area where I came from.
well im still here
Sith, I wouldn't call you a 'stormtrooper of theism'.
