Past two nights ive put my earphones in and listened to meditation and breathing techniques on my ipad/iphone....

Ive never heard the end of it as i am KONKED out! Id recommend it to anyone!!!!!

Apparently u r in a trance which i can believe actually cos now and again i almost "come too"..... Fantastic!!!

They are great ! I do self hypnosis and "tell" myself what time I am going to get up in the morning - great. Also outstanding on a long haul flight, as the time just whizzes by LOL I would recommend to anyone.
I was taught originally to stop my terrible migrains -- never had one in 22 years !! x

Its more like im falling asleep and i wake a bit and think "ooooh i didnt realise id fell asleep" kind of thing?

There are several on the internet by a musician that are supposed to make the hair on the back of your neck stand out too.

A friend of mine plays the gentle sound of waves crashing on a beach through headphones whilst reading a book, so he can pretend he is on holiday.
spell it "Come to" and you'll be all right, tinks...:-D
I wouldnt mind trying something like this tinker but im afraid I may strangle myself with the earphone wires when I drop off to sleep.

It was a typo LOL i do know the use of two to and too LOL!!!

I have waves and i have a dvd which turns my tv into a fire!!! Had whale music but was a free one and i eventually noticed the loop! Have bookmarked one though that ill buy soon when i have money!!

If you slept if sounds like to rushed past any meditative state. Still, if you get what you want from it, that's great. So you've not 'come to' yet then ? Sleep surfing ?
