@Goodlife - You display the characteristics of believers everywhere. At the first sign that physics and the world do not fit with the biblical worldview, what do you do? You attempt to redefine the science to something more palatable, or reject it entirely,, preferring to adhere to a worldview where the bible is inerrant ,so everything else that contradicts it must be wrong.

If you look at a human being that comes into existance aparently from chaos it looks like there is an entropy problem, that the second law of thermodynamics is wrong.


But that's because you're only looing at half the story.

You can get localised order providing that the overall energy system becomes more disordered.

In this case the Human gets energy ultimately from the Sun. Wen you take the overall system of the Earth and the sun it's getting more chaotic as the sun releases energy.


The only entropy problem is that a lot of people don't understand entropy properly

The truly ridiculous part the faithful trying to argue their position based on science is that the god hypothesis requires the starting point having the most complex structure in the Universe and absolutely no explanation of where it came from.

Science shows us how the Universe started with very simple basic principles and how the consequent mechanisms built the complexity we see today.

However it isn't surprising that the faithful adopt this position being as they build their lives around inducing cognitive dysfunction in their brain.

The Bible disagree with theories on evolution of life, and why not! Evolution is only a theory, and not a sound one at that.

So, with faith, works are required to make it valid. And if the works are to be acceptable, they must be motivated by love.

And to the answer to the question may vary, depending on whom you want to serve. Religion is service. If you want to serve yourself, you will pick the religion that pleases you. If you seek the favour of your neighbors, you will select the religion that pleases them. If, instead, your desire is to serve God, you will want to please him, simple.

Other Christians, who also use the bible as their guide, don't interpret it as you do - and Muslims believe the Koran is the word of God and therefore validates their faith. Why do you think think that you alone are capable of knowing which of the interpretations - and which of the books for that matter - is the true word of God?

Same question to anyone else of faith who wants to join the discussion.

Since, in Goodlife's opinion, anyone who doesn't believe as he does is doomed, perhaps Keyplus, as a Muslim, and some of others who adhere to different brands of Christianity and other religions might like to defend their faith against Goodlife's claims - and we atheists can sit back with our popcorn and watch with interest.
